On the lookout: Deputies look for lawnmower thieves; Pueblo PD search for credit card fraud suspect

On the lookout suspects

EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) -- The El Paso County Sheriff's Office is still looking for a man accused of stealing two lawnmowers from a local company in Monument.

Deputies originally released pictures in early July hoping the public would recognize the suspect, but no new information has come to light.

It started on May 14, when an unknown male contacted a business on the 100 Block of North Monument Lake Road to order a Cub Cadet Zero Turn Lawnmower.

The following day, a tow company came to pick up the mower. Meanwhile, the suspect ordered a second mower, both valued at over $5,000. The lawnmowers were taken to a self-storage business in Castle Rock where the two suspects were seen hauling the mowers away, but the payment for the equipment never cleared.

The Sheriff's Office says the male provided a fake Texas driver license to the storage facility, making it harder for law enforcement to track him down.

The first suspect is a white male with a medium build. He is seen wearing a red shirt, jeans and black shoes.

A female with a medium build was seen with the first suspect picking up the mowers from the storage facility. They are believed to be driving a tan or gold Nissan Titan Pickup truck missing its front bumper.
