Students getting physicals at Peak Vista Community’s Back-2-School Care Fair

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Peak Vista Community Health Center is hosting a Back-2-School Care Fair to prepare children the new school year. Providers at the Family Health Center at Mitchel High School are providing physicals from 8am-2pm on Saturday, August 1st.

Students are slated to receive wellness exams and any needed immunizations, as well as information on behavioral health services available at the clinic.

The Care Fair will be located at Peak Vista's Health Center at Mitchell High School; 4041 E San Miguel St, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.

The Back-2-School Care Fair at the Family Health Center at Mitchell High School is funded in part by the El Pomar Foundation’s Ferrand Fund grant. It included music from DJ, James Flowers and a visit by the Care and Share Food Bank.

To schedule an appointment or to learn more about Peak Vista’s upcoming Back-2-School Care Fair, you can call (719) 632-5700 or visit peakvista.org. Peak Vista accepts Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurances. Those without insurance will be able to enroll with Peak Vista at the Care Fair.
