Gov. Polis gives update on COVID-19 in Colorado, July 30
Colorado Gov. Jared Polis is giving an update on the state's response to COVID-19 on Thursday as cities like Colorado Springs have seen a steady rise in cases over the entire month of July.

According to state statistics, there have been 44,565 positive cases for the coronavirus with 1,799 deaths since the state began keeping track. Gov. Polis did say earlier this week that while cases have risen, the number of hospitalizations in the state related to COVID-19 has remained stable and he said hospitals are "fine."
