More Showers and Cooler

A combination of monsoon moisture and a push of cooler air will mean another day of showers and thunderstorms for Southeast Colorado.

And because the storms are slow movers, there's always a small risk for localized flooding near the Colorado-Kansas border.

A shift in the winds above us will cut off much of the moisture toward midweek and that will mean warmer temperatures close to 90 degrees. Until that drier air reaches us, reach for the umbrella, you'll need it on Monday.
