Mayors panel to discuss COVID-19 and economic recovery
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A local event brings decision-makers together to discuss Front Range issues in Colorado Springs. The 2020 Mayors Panel will include mayors from five local municipalities:
- Mayor Val Carr, City of Woodland Park
- Mayor John Graham, City of Manitou Springs
- Mayor Gabriel Ortega, City of Fountain
- Mayor John Suthers, City of Colorado Springs
- Mayor Don Wilson, Town of Monument
The event will be held at The Pinery at the Hill, 775 W. Bijou St. For those who wish to stream the event virtually, can register for $20 at csbj.com/events. The event will be Thursday, July 23 from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm.
Five Front Range mayors will discuss how they’re meeting the challenges of uncertain times, including resources allotted to fighting COVID-19, budget shortfalls, how they are working cooperatively, and other topics from commercial development to the Manitou Incline.
