UPDATE: Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office locates missing runner on Greenhorn Mountain

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) — The runner who went missing at Greenhorn Mountain has been found, according to a family friend.

EARLIER The Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office and other agencies are searching for a missing runner.

Samuel Greenwald, 19, of Texas went running up Greenhorn Mountain on Monday morning but failed to return, according to a Facebook post by Pueblo Police.

Searchers have been looking for Greenwald since late Monday. Because of the terrain, officials are not asking the public to help with the search. However, law enforcement did say to keep a lookout for Greenwald. He is 6-foot, 155 pounds with short black hair and sparse facial hair.

He was last seen wearing blue shorts, possibly a white t-shirt, black shoes and had an orange backpack with black seams.

If you have any information about Greenwald, contact the Sheriff’s Office at (719) 583-6250.
