“Bad luck” rock mailed back to Colorado Parks and Wildlife

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) — Colorado Parks and Wildlife’s Southeast Region Office is sharing an unusual piece of mail with Twitter. The sender wrote them a letter saying they were given a rock by a state park visitor three years ago.

The letter writer explains things have been 'rocky' for them ever since. They enclosed the rock with the letter, saying they were confident the CPW employees would be able to return it to the correct park.

Bad luck aside, CPW tweeted the letter with encouragement to take only photographs and leave only footprints when visiting parks and wilderness areas.
