18-year-old thrown from vehicle in rollover crash off Skyline Drive in Canon City

FREMONT COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) — A teen is seriously hurt after a crash in Cañon City. The sheriff’s office said it happened at around 4:18 p.m. Tuesday on Skyline Drive.

When deputies got there, they discovered that a vehicle drove off of the west side of Skyline Drive and came to rest near Highway 50.

The driver of the vehicle, an 18-year-old female, was thrown from the car and suffered serious injuries. She was taken to St. Thomas Moore Hospital. The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the cause of the crash.
