On the lookout: Suspected thief turns himself in, Fountain police looking for fugitive

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- On Tuesday, a man suspected of stealing a car in Colorado Springs has turned himself into police.

In May, KRDO put you on the lookout for a suspect who stole a 2015 Ford Taurus from the 2500 block of East Pikes Peak Avenue around 9:45 p.m. on November 4, 2019.

His picture was captured when he stopped for fast-food at Alfonso's Mexican Restaurant, four miles away from the original crime.

Police say he has agreed to come in for an interview after seeing his picture on the KRDO's On the lookout segment. There's still no official word on what charges he might be facing.

In Fountain, police are looking for man who's evading arrest.

33-year-old Marquise Anthony Hutt is wanted for Second Degree Assault, Third Degree Assault, Child Abuse, and Domestic Violence. Police say he has prior felony convictions and is possibly armed.

Hutt has been seen near the 2200 block of Bruno Circle, in Colorado Springs, and the 6000 block of Provincial Drive, in Fountain.

If you have information on Hutt's whereabouts, call the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center at (719) 390-5555.
