EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. (KRDO) — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said it is looking for 16-year-old Elizabeth "Lizzy" McPherson who is missing and endangered.

According to a release from the sheriff’s office, Elizabeth left her home on Bradshaw Road in Colorado Springs on foot on Thursday around 4 p.m. She was seen Friday being dropped off at a bus station near Wahsatch and Colorado avenues around 7 p.m.

The Colorado Bureau of Investigation said in an update Sunday that Lizzy was last seen at a Denver bus stop at 1055 19th Street with an unknown male. It's unclear if she boarded a bus there, but if she did investigators believe she could be headed to Texas or Florida.

The release said Elizabeth has a cognitive disability, is without her required medications and functions at the level of an 8-year-old. She was last seen wearing a t-shirt and blue jeans.

She is 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighs 84 pounds and has blue eyes and brown hair.
