Flash Flood Warnings on I-25

Tonight: Severe thunderstorms have been sitting on I-25 and in Pueblo for the better portion of this evening, dropping 2-3" of rain over multiple areas. Flash Flood Warnings are in effect till at least 7:15pm for the entire stretch of I-25 from Pueblo to the El Paso County line. Scattered showers and thunderstorms lasting till approximately midnight along the I-25 corridor.

Sunday: Starting off the day with morning sunshine helping temperatures once again reach well above average, into the mid 80s in Colorado Springs and low 90s along the HWY 50 corridor. Increasing clouds are expected through the day with more scattered showers and thunderstorms during the afternoon and evening in central/southern Colorado.

Extended: This trend of above average high temperatures combined with afternoon thunderstorms is not showing signs of letting up through next week. Make sure to stay tuned to the latest KRDO updates in case a severe thunderstorm develops in your area.
