Police at standoff scene in Pueblo neighborhood

PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) — A man is under arrest after a standoff with Pueblo Police Sunday night.

Police say they were called to a home near Summit and Adams around noon. The suspect had left an incendiary device in a neighbors' lawn, according to police.

Police say the man has been verbally aggressive with neighbors in the past. Police have responded to 17 calls about the man in the last 30 days.

A standoff began when he refused to surrender to police. SWAT arrived at the home to help arrest the man.

The regional bomb squad also responded to the standoff. The suspect eventually surrendered to police around 7:00 p.m.

No one was hurt during the incident. Police say he is facing a multitude of charges.
