Fremont County expands COVID-19 testing

CAÑON CITY, Colo. (KRDO) — The Fremont County Department of Public Health & Environment is increasing its capacity for testing people who are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19. 

The testing site is at the FDCPHE Building on 201 N. 6th Street in Cañon City.

It’s open Mondays from 1:00 p.m.-3:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.  Appointments can be made Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. by calling (719) 276-7450.

Tests are by appointment only. FCDPHE said it will not take any unscheduled people for testing.
