TONIGHT: Winds taper off this evening and skies stay mostly clear and cool with lows in the 30s and 40s.

THURSDAY: The first half of the day remains dry under partly sunny skies. Temps will reach the 50's and 60's once again for the Pikes Peak region and low 70's expected for the eastern plains. a few rain showers and a rain-snow mix develop west of the interstate and will move through the region during the afternoon. Severe weather is not expected but you could see some areas of moderate rainfall as well as lightning along and east of the foothills. Little to no snow accumulation is anticipated in local mountain cities thanks to the recent warmth

EXTENDED: Moisture will likely linger through the first half of Friday along with cooler highs in the 40s and 50s. The weekend looks gorgeous with temperatures climbing to the 60s and 70s under sunshine by Sunday.
