Beautiful weekend with light rain showers Sunday night

Beautiful weekend ahead as high pressure remains anchored across the southwest yielding tranquil skies and warm temps.

TONIGHT: calm and clear with temps in the 30's

EXTENDED: Saturday temperatures into the mid-60s and 70s in central/southern Colorado. Mostly sunny or partly cloudy skies expected with a light breeze as gusts will reach 20mph in Colorado Springs. Staying dry with a weak cold front entering into Colorado overnight into Sunday.

That low pressure will whip up a few mountain snow showers during the daytime on Sunday with minimal accumulations in most mountain cities and across I-70. Isolated rain showers will cross the I-25 corridor during the afternoon, which will, in turn, keep temperatures slightly cooler than the first half of the weekend.
