Two juveniles arrested for Colorado Springs gas station robbery, one suspect still at large

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Colorado Springs police have apprehended three suspects who were involved in a gas station robbery early Wednesday morning.

Two suspects are juveniles, so their names won't be released. A third person, who was a passenger in the getaway vehicle, was identified as 24-year-old Nathan Shull.

Officers were called to the Circle K convenience store on Tutt Blvd. and Dublin Blvd., just before 3 a.m. According to police, two people walked inside of the store and demanded money. One of the suspects fired off a shot fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money. The suspects took off in a stolen Chevrolet that had been reported stolen earlier that day, police say. Luckily, no one was hurt during the robbery.

Police were able to track down the suspects and the stolen car later Wednesday when an officer saw the vehicle drive by. The suspects tried to flee again but the officer was able to use their patrol car to bring the stolen car to a stop.

Four suspects got out of the vehicle and tried to runaway -- police chased after the suspects and were able to apprehend three of them. The chase happened in the area of Airport Road and Murray Boulevard, police confirmed. A fourth suspect is still at large.

A 15-year-old male was arrested first degree criminal trespass, second degree burglary, aggravated motor vehicle theft, two counts of aggravated robbery, illegal discharge of a firearm and vehicular eluding.

A 16-year-old male was arrested on two counts of aggravated robbery.

Police say Nathan Shull was a parolee will be charged with obstruction.
