Police working to apprehend barricaded suspect in southeast Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- A heavy police presence, including SWAT officers, was seen in a neighborhood near the Colorado Springs Airport, and police say they're working to arrest a barricaded suspect.

Residents in the area of Gatewood Drive are urged to stay inside and away from doors and windows. Travelers should avoid the area.

Police haven't said who officers are trying to arrest. We're working on getting more details.
