After a relatively mild weekend, the weather picture switches back to winter as another storm system races in from the Northwest.

The Central Mountains remain under a WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY until 8 a.m. Monday morning. Most locations there could see anywhere from 6 to 12 inches accumulation by Monday evening. We won't be getting any wintry weather until late in the evening and it won't really start snowing until Tuesday morning.

Most Southern Front Range locations won't get more than a couple inches of new snow, but Places near the Sangre de Cristo range could see more by early Wednesday.
