Snowy Sunday

Another shot of cold air is headed for Colorado. It means more snow for the mountains, but just a little bit for Colorado Springs and Pueblo.

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY remains in effect for the Northern and Central mountains until midnight, Sunday night. Those areas are expecting 5 to 10 inches of fresh snow over the next couple days.

In Southeast Colorado, a cold shot of arctic air will just bring a bit of snow to Colorado Springs, around an inch by midday Monday. Daytime temperatures will be in the upper 20s to lower 30s throughout midweek.

By Thursday, sunshine will return with highs in the 40s in time for the weekend.
