Icy conditions cause crash on I-25

I-25 accident

Icy road conditions from Friday's storm caused a wreck on I-25 near the off ramp to Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs.

The driver of a pickup truck appeared to be doing okay, despite a cracked windshield and damage to the body of the truck itself, after a spin-out.

This accident on I-25 northbound, is just one of several from overnight.

No backups were created by this accident investigation.

  1. “Icy road conditions from Friday’s storm caused a wreck on I-25 …”
You can be certain that the driver going too fast for the icy conditions was the cause of the crash, not the roads themselves.

  2. Planes are not allowed to fly in bad weather until it is safe to do so because they will crash, cars should not be allowed on icy roads until they are safe to do so because they will crash.
Close down roads to travel until they are clear of ice and snow, stop the preventable carnage.
