CSPD sting nets online child luring arrests

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - The Colorado Springs Police Department arrested five people on suspicion of luring and exploiting minors online.

The department's Internet Crimes Against Children unit (ICAC) conducted an undercover operation, and arrested the following men in December 2019:
Michael Renfro, 39, from Colorado Springs
Gustavo Cota, 28, from Colorado Springs
Timothy Brace, 22, from Fort Carson
Bryan Blakely, 29, from Littleton
Robert Elliott, 49, from Woodland Park

The suspects face charges of Internet Luring of a Child and Attempted Sexual Assault on a Child. All charges are felonies.

The ICAC unit is the lead agency for the Colorado ICAC Task Force.
