COLORADO SPRINGS - UPDATE: Kimberly Peterson was found and is safe, police said on Monday.

Police in Colorado Spring is asking for the public's help in finding an at-risk woman.

Police say that 37-year-old Kimberly Peterson has not been seen since January 1, 2020. According to the CSPD, Peterson was last seen on the 1st when she went to the hospital for reported stomach pains.

Her transportation to the hospital was arranged by an assisted living center she resides in. The hospital did provide transportation back, however, Ms. Peterson walked away from the hospital. Police did not specify which hospital she was seen walking away from.

Peterson was last seen wearing a green jacket and blue jeans.
