Colorado Springs police investigating armed robbery on Academy Boulevard

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened late Wednesday north of the Citadel Mall.

According to CSPD, officers were called to Memorial Center Hospital because someone had been shot. Officers got more information and found out the victim was in a parked car in the 1200 block of N. Academy Boulevard when two men walked up and shot him in the shoulder.

Police say the two suspects got some of the victim's property and fled. They're described as a 6-foot-tall skinny black man, and a Hispanic man standing about 5'10" and medium build.
