Gas prices continue to fall in Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Over the past week, gas prices have fallen 3 cents per gallon, averaging $2.58/gallon in Colorado Springs.

The fall in prices has contributed to prices being 12 cents/gallon lower than a month ago.

According to GasBuddy, the cheapest station in Colorado Springs is at $2.29/gallon, while the most expensive is $2.84/gallon.

Despite the recent fall in gas prices, prices are still 56 cents higher than a year ago.

GasBuddy reports, oil prices plummeted last week after Iran and the United States de-escalated rising tensions.
