Stabbing under investigation in southeast Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Police were called to a reported stabbing Friday night on Carmel Drive in southeast Colorado Springs.

Officers responded to multiple calls about the stabbing around 8:36 p.m. in the 2000 block of Carmel Drive.

Police tell us the victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries, but did not know the extent of the person's injuries.

There are no suspects in custody at this time, police say. We'll update this story as we learn more.
