Travel Alert: Lane closure on Powers Blvd. Friday morning (KRDO)

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Drivers will encounter intermittent single lane closures on southbound Powers Boulevard Friday morning.

The closure will be north of Galley Road at mile point 135.86 and will take place from 9 a.m. - noon.

Peterson Road or North Murray Boulevard can serve as an alternate route.

The closure is due to utility work in the area.

The Colorado Department of Transportation is reminding drivers to be alert, watch for workers and obey the posted speed limits.
