Travel Alert: I-25 Lane closures Wednesday

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - There will be single-lane closures in the north and southbound lanes of I-25 near the Fountain area starting Wednesday night.

The Colorado Department of Transportation will close the right lanes in either direction on I-25 from mileposts 124 to 126 (just south of Fountain) from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.

Following the right lane closure, the left lanes will then be closed in either direction from 9 p.m. - 12 a.m.

The closure will help CDOT gain access and inspect the Railroad Bridge in the area.

Motorists should prepare for the cone zone, obey the posted speed limit, watch for workers and expect delays during peak travel times.
