Police investigate stabbing west of downtown Colorado Springs

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - A victim is recovering after being stabbed multiple times late Sunday night.

Police responded to the 700 block of South 8th St. to investigate a stabbing.

Upon further investigation, officers learned that a victim was stabbed as a result of a robbery. The victim was seeking medical treatment for the injuries sustained during the incident.

The incident is under investigation. Officers have not been able to gather more information due to the victim's medical condition.
