Police: Woman choked by boyfriend stabs him to get away
A woman in Colorado Springs was able to fend off an attack by her boyfriend by grabbing a kitchen knife and stabbing him, police say.
Officers arrested Keonte Williams for assault in connection with the domestic disturbance Thursday.
Colorado Springs police say officers were called to a home near 1300 Michelle Ct. for the disturbance. According to a police report, the victim was being choked by Williams, and she was seriously injured.
During the attack, the victim was able to defend herself with the kitchen knife, according to police. Both the victim and Williams were taken to the hospital for their injuries.
