COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.-- Two people are in custody after a vehicle pursuit in Colorado Springs.

It ended at Academy Boulevard near Flintridge drive. Multiple Colorado State Patrol troopers were at the scene with assistance of a few Colorado Springs Police Department officers.

Law enforcement had lanes of traffic blocked off as they investigated. We are waiting to hear from officials about what happened but it appears a trooper used their cruiser to stop the vehicle.

We are working to get more details on this pursuit including where and how it started. Check back here for the latest updates.

  1. According to various other reports, this was a suspected DUI female, who a State Trooper tried to pull over near Austin Bluffs & Academy. The trooper eventually executed “a maneuver” (PIT?) to get her to stop.
The driver was identified as 24-year-old Jonna Luckey, who was charged with DUI, felony eluding, evading, and driving on a revoked license. Sounds like she was a repeat offender, which is not unusual for DUIs.
