Pueblo Police arrest multiple people for suspected DUI, other driving offenses overnight
PUEBLO, Colo. -- It was a busy night for the Pueblo Police Department as officers throughout the city arrested multiple people on driving offenses within an hour early Saturday morning.
It began at 1:15 a.m. when Officers Sanchez and Cardona conducted a traffic stop and caught a driver with a suspended driver's license.
Simultaneously, in a different part of the city, Officer Neece conducted a traffic stop on I-25 and arrested that driver on suspicion of DUI.
Less than half an hour later on Norwood, Officers Hovet and Lile also arrested a driver on suspicion of DUI. In addition, that driver had a suspended driver's license and multiple active warrants for their arrest.
Again, thirty minutes after that, Sergeant A. Ramos and Officer Sanchez arrested two parties with active arrest warrants while conducting a traffic stop on Kingston.
Remember that song, “If you want to find all the cops they’re hanging out in the donut shops”? Whatever! I never liked that song, anyway! PPD Watches 3 & 4 officers are doing police work!
