Outlets at Castle Rock usher in holiday season

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. (KRDO) - Shoppers flocked to the Outlets at Castle Rock to officially kick off the holiday season.

Pop musician AJ Mitchell took the stage to croon while fans swooned. And everyone waited patiently for the annual tree-lighting ceremony.

Organizers say the 55-foot tree is strung with 8,000 lights. Santa took time off making a list and checking it twice, to help light the tree.
