Homicide Investigation in Colorado Springs
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The Colorado Springs Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting that happened at East La Salle Street and Eagle View Drive, near Constitution Avenue and North Union Blvd.
The call came in around 9 p.m. Friday night. Police confirm at least one person is dead and are treating the shooting as a homicide.
Moments later, police cruisers were at Palmer Park Blvd. and North Academy Blvd., just south of the initial shooting.
Our crew was near that intersection at a 7-Eleven where it appeared one person was sitting in the back of a police cruiser.
At this time, it's not clear if both scenes are related.
