According to Colorado State Patrol, a 2020 freightliner box truck crashed into the center median of I-25 just before 5:00 a.m. Wednesday.

The crash closed all southbound lanes between Greenland Rd. and County Line Rd. and there were reports from CDOT of all northbound lanes being closed as well.

All lanes reopened around 6:25 a.m.

Authorities do not know which direction the truck driver was traveling when they crashed. The driver sustained minor to moderate injuries and was not transported to the hospital.

A 2013 Dodge SUV hit debris in the road, but the driver was not injured.

At this time, CSP is investigating the cause of the crash but it appears that drugs and alcohol are not involved.
