COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers has opened its second Colorado Springs restaurant, located at 5717 Barnes Road, in the Powers Pointe shopping center.

There was a long line of first-time visitors at the newest 3,575-square-foot building with seating and a drive-thru. Restaurant crews were out directing traffic. Inside, General Manager Jesse Mehaffie and more than 100 newly-hired crew members were busy on their first day of opening serving a full-house of customers.

Colorado Springs’ new Raising Cane’s will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight. The new restaurant marks the eighth Raising Cane’s in Colorado and 471st system-wide. It follows the opening of the Louisiana-based chain’s first Colorado Springs restaurant in May at 7585 N. Academy Blvd., southeast of Academy and Agora Point.

A third Colorado Springs location is also planned for next spring at 4530 Hilton Parkway, northwest of Interstate 25 and Garden of the Gods Road.
