Jewish people across Southern Colorado celebrate Rosh Hashana

We want to wish all of our Jewish viewers a happy Rosh Hashana! At sundown Sunday night, Jewish people across Southern Colorado will celebrate the Jewish New Year.

“Rosh Hashana represents more than just the beginning of the year, it represents the life and energy of the coming year,” said Chabbad Rabbi Moshe Liberow.

This week, the Chabbad house of Colorado Springs prepared for three days of services.

This year, several young men flew all the way from New York to join Rabbi Liberow and the rest of the Southern Colorado community

Services will be held Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday at Chabbad Lubovitch. The shofar will be blown at noon each day.
