Teen shot in leg outside Citadel Mall
Colorado Springs police are looking for the person responsible for shooting a teenager in the leg Thursday morning outside of the Citadel Mall.
According to a report by CSPD, officers were called to a shooting in the parking lot at about 2:30 a.m. They found a male teenager with a gunshot to the leg, and he was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police didn’t release any information about what could have led up to the shooting, but the department said the investigation is still in the early stages.
A description of the suspect, or suspects, wasn’t made available.
