2 arrested for bank robbery in north Colorado Springs

Colorado Springs police say two men are facing robbery charges for stealing money from a Chase Bank earlier this month.

The robbery happened Aug. 3 at the branch near N. Academy Boulevard and Montebello Drive. Police say a man walked in wearing a long-hared, blonde wig and demanded cash from the teller.

The suspect got away in a blue hatchback being driven by another man, according to a report from CSPD. Investigators started looking at surveillance and identified the getaway driver as 48-year-old Jason Roth and the robbery suspect as 34-year-old Anthony Hunt, both of Pueblo.

Roth was arrested by Pueblo police on Thursday, and Hunt was already in custody in Oklahoma for an unrelated warrant as of Aug. 9. Both of them have been charged with robbery.
