Tonight: Severe thunderstorm warnings for El Paso/Pueblo Counties have been allowed to expire. Still a few rain showers possible across the I-25 corridor, but the severe thunderstorms have moved east, currently located in Crowley/Otero Counties. The Biggest concerns now for Pueblo and Colorado Springs will be the flooding. Reports of 2-3in. of rain fell from this evenings thunderstorms so flooding is likely for low lying areas. The thunderstorms will continue to move east at approximately 10-20mph, produce torrential downpours, wind gusts to 70mph, lightning, and hail. Wind/hail/flooding damage is likely. The thunderstorms will weaken and exit far eastern Colorado after 10pm.

Sunday: Mostly clear skies to start off the morning with increasing clouds by early afternoon, temperatures reaching into the mid-80’s for Colorado Springs, and low 90’s for HWY 50. Expect another round of afternoon showers and thunderstorms, overall severity will be less than that of today. But it will be possible for one or two strong to severe thunderstorms in SE Colorado.

Extended: Temperatures slightly below average to start the week ahead, mid 70’s in Colorado Springs. The trend of morning sunshine with afternoon thunderstorms will, unfortunately, be likely through the entire week.
