Near record highs for Colorado Springs and Pueblo – 7/18/19

TODAY: Our heatwave continues for another day in Colorado as highs soar back to the 90s and 100s. Our mountain cities will be in 80s this afternoon. Springs and Pueblo will be just a few degrees shy of record highs. Sunshine will be in abundance with scattered clouds rolling in through the late afternoon.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear and mild with lows in the 50s and 60s.

EXTENDED: Sunshine and more heat is in the forecast for Friday before our pattern starts to change. The weekend brings rain and thunderstorms; those start Saturday night and continue through Monday. Thankfully, this comes with a cool down, so highs drop by to the 70s and 80s for the early week.
