Hot temps and a few storms for the new week – 7/15/19

TODAY: Mostly clear skies are in the forecast through lunchtime today with increasing temperatures through that same timeframe. Highs will get to the 90s and 100s today with 80s over the mountains. Storms are likely after 3PM today and will stick around through 8pm before moving east. Locally heavy rain and lightning are the biggest threats.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy to mostly clear with lows dropping to the 50s and 60s.

EXTENDED: The rest of the week brings decreasing rain chances through Wednesday, with even warmer temperatures in the upper 90s to low 100s. Mountain cities will be well into the 80s. Stay cool!
