Scattered showers and storms return – 6/20/19

TODAY: Mostly sunny skies are in the forecast through lunchtime before we become partly cloudy during the second half of the afternoon. Chances for a few rain showers and a stray thunderstorm move in after 1PM and stay with us through about 5 or 6PM this evening. Highs today will be in the 80s and 90s. 70s are expected in the mountains.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy to mostly clear. Overnight lows cool to the 40s and 50s again.

EXTENDED: Most of Friday looks pretty quiet with increasing chances for showers and storms during the second half of the day. Better chances for rain and storms are in for Saturday and Sunday. Because of that, highs dip back to the 60s and 70s. Some of our mountain cities will be in the 50s. An evening rain shower is possible Monday, otherwise, we look drier and warmer through Wednesday.
