Man arrested following peeping incident in northeast Colorado Springs

A 36-year-old probationary escapee was arrested after looking into windows of homes in a northeast Colorado Springs neighborhood, and leading police on foot chase.

Officers were called to an address in the 4800 block of Hackamore Drive North (MAP) Tuesday night after receiving multiple calls of a man looking in windows and jumping from yard to yard.

Upon arriving on the scene, officers continued to receive more calls about the man, who was later identified as Sergey Bussell.

Officers searched the scene for an hour before calling in a second wave of officers. Shortly after the Specialized Enforcement Division K-9 Officers arrived, they located Bussell and a chase began. Bussell led police on a foot chase through several backyards.

Bussell resisted arrest and was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Bussell is a probationary escapee and will be charged with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and resisting arrest.
