Mother: Thrown cup caused teen to crash bike in Black Forest

Briana Taylor says her son was riding his minibike Tuesday in Black Forest when a woman in a black car threw a soda out her window, hit him in the head, and caused him to crash.

Now, 15-year-old Timothy Taylor is dealing with a broken clavicle, a rough-looking skinned knee, and a totaled bike. Briana has since filed a police report with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.

But the driver of the car, described as a black Scion xB, hasn’t been identified. Taylor posted about the incident on Facebook to ask for people’s help in finding the driver.

Taylor says the woman threw the cup on Tannenbaum Road near Wildridge Road. It happened around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
