WEATHER ALERT: Heavy morning snow and rain – 5/21/19

TODAY: We start our Tuesday with heavy snow in places through Teller and El Paso County. Places through Pueblo County and points east will be dealing with some very heavy rain. Significant snow accumulations north of Colorado Springs are very likely through the mid morning, and even in some of our mountain cities. Places south of Colorado Springs will be seeing very minimal if any accumulation. Rain and snow lifts north and east through 9AM before we dry out and get into some cloud breaks through lunchtime. A stray sprinkle is possible this afternoon but most spots look quiet.

TONIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy with lows in the 30s. We might see some fog develop by early tomorrow as snow starts to melt off. Lows will be in the 30s and 20s tonight.

EXTENDED: The long range forecast looks sunny and mild with afternoon highs in the 70s to near 80 by Saturday.
