COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO ARCHIVE) -- A master sergeant at Schriever Air Force Base is under investigation by the military branch after his alleged connections to a national white supremacist group were recently uncovered.

Master Sgt. Cory Allen Reeves is with the 50th Space Wing at Schriever Air Force Base and has been a servicemember since 2005. He lives in Colorado Springs.

Photos obtained by the Colorado Springs Anti-Fascists group appear to show Reeves at multiple Identity Evropa events across the country and with the Identity Evropa leader, Patrick Casey; chat logs show that he was willing to help another member of the group with "some missions" in Colorado Springs.

We reached out to Schriever AFB officials for a comment, and a representative said Air Force officials are aware of the allegations against Reeves and are looking into them at this time.

Identity Evropa, which is now known as the American Identity Movement, is a white supremacist hate group, according to the Anti-Defamation League. The group has been connected to violent protests and white nationalist movements, including the Unite the Right march in Charlottesville.

According to the Colorado Springs Anti-Fascists group, Reeves was in attendance at the 2nd annual Identity Evropa conference, which took place in early March in Kentucky.

Reeves was a member of Identity Evropa as early as October 2017 and serves as the Colorado state coordinator for the group, according to Colorado Springs Anti-Fascists. He also used his real name during a guest appearance on an episode of the podcast Identitarian Action, which is connected to Identity Evropa.

Screenshots from an Identity Evropa Discord chat were leaked to the independent news outlet Unicorn Riot, and Reeves allegedly takes part in discussions using the screen name "Argument of Perigree CO." That screen name is a reference to satellites, and Reeves works in a position close to satellite operations.

Reeves says in a chat that he was the only Identity Evropa member in Hawaii before he moved to Colorado. He was stationed at Buckley AFB before moving to Colorado Springs.

Photos of Reeves at IE events have appeared on Anti-Fascist websites for at least several weeks, and one chat log from Reeves says, "High-resolution photos of my face are all over Antifa websites and they are clueless to my identity."

A spokesperson with Schriever AFB's Public Affairs Office said no comment can be made until all of the facts have been reviewed, but added that "racism, hatred, and bigotry have no place in the Air Force, and we're committed to a culture where all airmen can feel welcome and thrive."

Reeves' status with the Air Force isn't clear at this time. We tried calling a phone number on base listed for him, but we didn't get an answer.
