Yoder family’s home destroyed by blizzard

A family in Yoder is without a home after their house was demolished by Wednesday’s blizzard.

Eddie and Carla Anderson posted pictures of their friends’ home just off of Edison Road (MAP) — or at least, what’s left of it.

After Wednesday’s “bomb cyclone” weather event, it looks like the aftermath of a tornado. A friend of the family says winds flattened the home. At one point during Wednesday’s storm, wind gusts were recorded near 100 mph.

The Andersons and they say the family is not injured. But they just moved from Nevada, according to a Gofundme page, and they “lost everything in the blizzard of 2019.”
