Residents react to last known sighting of Kelsey Berreth in Woodland Park

The search continues for the 29-year-old mother missing from Woodland Park, Kelsey Berreth. Now, new footage has been revealed by the Woodland Park Police showing her last known whereabouts.

In the video, she is walking into Safeway with her child, she grabs a cart and then walks into the store. She is wearing a grey shirt and blue jeans.

We showed shoppers the video of Berreth and asked for their thoughts on the disappearance.

Jeff Pyle said, “It just doesn’t happen up here.”

Marissa Grubb added, “I come here with my kids, I mean, we feel pretty safe. I let them run around without really watching them that great inside the store, and now I just have to be more aware.”

Mikala Kilgore says she shops at Safeway all the time and is surprised she never saw her.

“I go shopping here weekly. I’m here all the time, I’m surprised I didn’t see her or know of her,” Kilgore said.

As mothers, both Grubb and Kilgore say they can’t even imagine what the family is going through.

Grubb said, “It makes me more afraid that it’s kind of a bad situation, that she wouldn’t just leave voluntarily if she has a kid.”

“And I have a one-year-old, I can’t imagine how her husband feels having that one-year-old girl. And her not having her mom it’s just crazy,” added Kilgore.

Berreth’s fiance was the last to see her when picking up their child on Nov. 22. Police say that he has more than cooperated.

The police have set up an email account for you to use if you have any tips, that is kelsey@city-woodlandpark.org.
