Lawyer of missing Woodland Park mom’s fianc speaks out
One of the biggest questions we have in the disappearance of young mom Kelsey Berreth is her relationship with fiance Patrick Frazee.
Many of you have even taken to social media to discuss all the possibilities.
In search of answers, we spoke to Frazee’s lawyer, Jeremy Loew.
Patrick Frazee has shied away from the media. It’s why attorney Jeremy Loew says he’s speaking on Frazee’s behalf, in hopes of painting his client in a positive light despite Frazee’s avoidance of news crews.
“Patrick has cooperated with law enforcement interviews, he has provided buccal swabs, he’s provided photographs and has voluntarily turned in his cell phone,” Loew said.
At this time Frazee is not being considered a suspect.
But that has many people wondering why he is seeking legal advice.
“I think anyone should seek out a lawyer when they’re being faced with a situation like this.”
A big question, in this case, is the relationship between Frazee and Berreth.
We’ve heard him being introduced as a fiance but also as the father of Berreth’s daughter.
“I know they share a child together. I don’t know anything beyond that,” Loew said.
Loew says it’s not something they’ve even discussed.
Something they have talked about wanting to find the missing mother.
“We’ve talked about how he wants her to be returned and he’s focusing on parenting their child,” he said.
Many people find it hard to understand how a mom can leave behind a one-year-old daughter.
But when we asked about any arguments Berreth and Frazee may have had, Loew says there weren’t any.
“Not that I’m aware of,” he said.
As for why he wasn’t at this press conference Monday, Loew says it was short
“He was notified about the press conference about an hour prior to the press conference. He doesn’t want to distract from the investigation,” he said.
With so many questions still remaining, it’s unclear who or if anyone has answers.
We also tried reaching out to Berreth’s mom Thursday, but she says she’s not doing any interviews.
