Man shot while riding in car in east Colorado Springs

Police are investigating a shooting that happened Wednesday night in the area of Constitution Ave. and Circle Drive just after 9:00 p.m.

A man pulled up to a vehicle, flipped the driver off and began yelling obscenities. The suspect then displayed a handgun and fired one round into the victim vehicle.

A man riding in the vehicle was shot in the leg. He was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as an older white man with silver or white hair. The victims say he was driving a silver-colored sedan.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
